The NWRAWP is a technical working group with membership drawn from officers of the 7 Mineral Planning Authorities*, representatives of the Quarry Products Association, British Aggregates Association, Environment Agency Wales, Countryside Council for Wales, Welsh Assembly Government, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Welsh Environment Trust and British Geological Survey.
Gareth Jones, Team Leader, Enforcement, Minerals and Waste for Gwynedd Council is the Chairman of the NWRAWP and Ian Thomas, Director of National Stone Centre who works under contract to the Welsh Assembly Government is the Technical Secretary of the NWRAWP.
